From the Jane Austen series, this painting is inspired by the character of Anne in the novel “Persuasion”. As a young girl she was persuaded not to follow her heart, her dream, not to take any risks but instead conform other people's expectations. Years later, she finally finds the strength to fight for her dream and make it come true. As she looks through the window, this dream that seemed inaccessible before starts to bloom under her fingers.
This painting has been published in the Summer 2014 issue of Somerset Studio Magazine and in the book Incite: Dreams Realized by North Light Books.
