Gratitude page
I’ve just finished creating my gratitude art journal page for this year! I do one every December, to honor and celebrate the gifts of the past twelve month. When art and mindfulness come together, it’s just so good for the soul. Enjoy!
Autumn-inspired student art
Autumn is here and it is such an inspiring season. So today I thought I’d share a good dose of autumn-inspired inspiration with you, with plenty of art created by the students of my classes! I hope they will give you some ideas to get creating too.
A painting makeover!
Sometimes a painting needs a new life… and a whole makeover! A few months ago I decided to tackle an abstract canvas that just didn’t feel really “me”. It took a while and it now has a completely new look and a new story…
An enchanted photoshoot
Backstage pics! A few days ago we did a super fun and dreamy photo shoot in my garden. We went all in with a whimsical Secret Garden / Alice in Wonderland feel and I can hardly wait to see the pictures. Until then, enjoy a look behind the scenes!
Deep blue in my art journal
An art journal is a wonderful playground to experiment with new colors and ideas. It’s a great way to expand your creative comfort zone! Here is a new page where I’ve been playing with deep, dark blue.

Meet me in the garden
It's been a while since I created a large painting, and I'm thrilled to share the process of new floral piece! All through its making I've been going back and forth between the garden and the studio, soaking in beauty and inspiration, then bringing it back to the canvas, again and again…

Student gallery!
I’m so excited to share a HUGE gallery of student art from last week’s Art Journal Dreams online retreat! I love that some stayed close to the original lesson, while others tweaked it, or went into a completely new direction. These are actually three great ways to learn!

An art journal story
An art journal is so much more than just just a journal. It’s a magical storybook! And its stories don’t have to be complicated or planned at all. They live in your heart and soul already, and are just waiting for an opportunity to be expressed, just like on this journal page.
