Good News!

I now teach this process in an online painting class called ā€œWild Rosesā€. Click below to find out more and join!

Oh it's really starting to feel like spring! Crocuses and rainbows seem to magically appear wherever I go, and the ever-changing light in the sky is just so incredibly beautiful... I'm in the mood to celebrate the joy and... paint flowers!

And I'm so excited to share a beautiful project with you today: Cloth Paper Scissors magazine asked me to create a floral abstract tutorial and it's now ready for you in the newest issue of the magazine with the supplies list and detailed instructions (plus a Studio Spotlight article featuring my creative space!):

ā€œI feel as if I had opened a book and found roses of yesterday sweet and fragrant, between its leaves.
ā€
— L.M. Montgomery, Anne of the Island

Watch the roses bloom in the timelapse video below!

This dreamy project was created in a small, handmade art journal and is inspired by a series of larger paintings I did a few years ago, called Renaissance.

Light and Love,
