Thank you
Thank you
A little look back at the art show I attended last week-end: the Salon de Peinture et Sculpture de la MJC de Ballan Miré! First I really want to thank the organizers who have given me this opportunity to participate in my first art show ever! Great people and a lovely venue have made it ideal for a first time...
The Ferme de la Haye in Ballan-Miré
We were 23 artists, with a great variety of styles and techniques: oil painting, acrylics, mixed media, watercolor, soft pastel, printing, sculpture... I shared a little blue room with Véronique Sommer, an artist who paints with sand. It was her first show and an opportunity to share experiences!

Many visitors came and our little room was sometimes completely crowded and I even had interesting contacts for future art shows!
I am still very moved by the way people have reacted to my work. The words "peace", "emotion", "serenity", "love", "stories" and "magical" came back often, as well as "it's making me feel good", "it speaks to me", "it touches my art", "soulful art"... You cannot imagine my emotion upon hearing those words, to see a smile lighting up someone's face, to feel that what I have put into a painting resonates with other people...
People who have even done me the great honor and pleasure of awarding me the visitors' price! I really really want to thank each person who has supported me with their vote, I feel so grateful...
And as if I hadn't been spoilt enough, the MJC de Ballan-Miré has invited me to have a personal exhibition in 2014, in the gorgeous venue of Pavillon Heller, teaming up with a renowned artist I really like: sculptor Jacques Cancre!
So lots of emotions and projects, and only one word to sum it all up: thank you!
