Little Pockets of Inspiration

Little Pockets of Inspiration

An uplifting creative practice

I love the idea of giving you a little dose of inspiration before the weekend, so today I thought I'd share a simple practice that supports my creativity and helps me feel inspired day after day!

One of my favorite creative "rituals" is to gather images, precious treasures from nature and inspiring words, and create little "inspiration corners" throughout our home. They can be as simple as a pine cone, a pebble and an affirmation card welcoming you in the hallway, or something bigger and more elaborate, like a whole inspiration wall in my creative space!

Sometimes all it takes is a sudden impulse to put something together in just a few seconds, or it can also be about taking the time to mindfully create an arrangement, infusing wishes or gratitude into the whole process. There is no right or wrong way to go about this, and all these little "pockets" of inspiration brighten my days with an extra dose of beauty and soul.

With so much time spent at home these days, I love how this practice encourages me to look for inspiration in my surroundings. It is such a lovely, simple way to shake things up and shift the energy, and it feels so uplifting.

In case you are isolating with children, this is also a great little project to do with them, inviting them to find beauty in what they have, and look with renewed interest at the things they love. I have done this ever since I was little, and my daughter has always done it too, so I hope you will give it a try!

Please leave a comment for me!

I would love to see pictures of your own little inspiration corners, and find out about your own tips and tricks to stay creative day after day… let’s inspire each other!

Thank you for spending a moment with me on this blog. Stay safe and stay inspired!

Light & Love,

More Inspiration!

As always, art journaling is one of the best things to help me stay creative while also processing thoughts and emotions. I have gathered plenty of free art journaling resources and I hope they will inspire you!
